Countertops

If you are looking to redesign or reinforce a countertop for your kitchen, bathroom or bar counter, you might consider looking into prefabricated granite countertops. Not only are these countertops durable and nearly indestructible, but they can be found in an array of beautiful colors to compliment any décor.

Many prefabricated granite countertops that are 25 inches wide and 98 inches long with a six-inch backsplash can be found from between $300 and $350. You can work with these countertops, trimming them to whatever size you need and matching your décor in multiple rooms. These countertops come in colors such as almond mauve, Baltic brown, black absolute, black galaxy, blue pearl, carioca gold, Dakota mahogany, emerald pearl, green butterfly, giallo fiorito, giallo ornamentalle, giallo veneziano, gold oak, golden granite, Kashmir gold, Kashmir white, new venetian gold, rosa beta, santa cecilia, santa cecilia light, tan brown, tropical brown, uba tuba and verde butterfly.

Jerong Products also carries countertops either 26 inches by 96 inches or 30 inches by 100 inches. Many of their designs can be found from their sale prices of $79 to $595 for their many beautiful and elegant designs including austral coffee, colonial treasure and kimiya DC.

CornerStone has various lines of prefabricated countertops in granite including their classic series, designer series, exotic series, leather series and for the budget conscious, the value series. The value series can cost between less than $3 per square foot to less than $9 per square foot. If you have a little more in the budget, you can consider the classic series, which costs between $7 per square foot and $14 per square foot.

The designer series, that features many specialty names such as Branco Romana and Juperano, costs between $10 per square foot and $18 per square foot. The leather series begins at a little more than $16 per square foot and finishes around $21 per square foot. The exotic series starts around $16 per square foot for the Pegasus design and ends around $24.50 per square foot for the Verde Lapponia design.

The advantage of ordering your prefabricated countertop by the square foot is that you can get exactly what you need and not have to worry about having anything left over. However, if you prefer an already cut slab, you have that option available to you. Just be sure to not get overwhelmed by the almost never-ending color choices available!
